Introducing Plantasia Tropical Zoo’s Exclusive Top Trumps Collaboration

At Plantasia Tropical Zoo, we’re always looking for new and exciting ways to engage our visitors and make your experience as memorable as possible. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our latest collaboration with the iconic card game brand, Top Trumps. This July, we proudly launched the Plantasia Tropical Zoo Top Trumps card game, which is now available at our zoo.

As soon as you step through our doors, you’ll be greeted by a vibrant display showcasing our exclusive Top Trumps pack. This special edition features stunning images and fascinating facts about our very own animals and plants, making it a must-have for both children and adults alike. Whether you’re reliving childhood memories or introducing the game to a new generation, this pack holds nostalgic value for many.

But that’s not all! To celebrate this exciting partnership, we’ve added an extra layer of fun to your visit. Scattered throughout our Plantasia Jungle are five GIANT Top Trumps cards from the pack, each representing a unique species from our zoo. These larger-than-life cards are part of a special trail that we’ve designed to offer an interactive and educational experience for all our visitors.

For just £1, you can purchase a trail pack, which includes a pencil and a medal, and embark on The Battle of the Stats. This game pits our brand new GIANTS OF THE PAST exhibit—featuring five of the largest animal species ever to have lived, brought back to life through replica skeletons, fossils, and augmented reality—against the five giant Top Trumps cards. The challenge? To use your knowledge and the Top Trumps ratings to determine which of these incredible creatures comes out on top. While the Top Trumps ratings for our zoo animals are provided, it’s up to you to decide the scores for the giants of the past, making every game a unique experience.

As an added bonus, each trail pack comes with an exclusive Top Trumps card featuring Sarcosuchus Imperator, the largest of our Giants of the Past. This special card is not available anywhere else and adds an extra layer of excitement to the game.

We’re extremely proud of this collaboration, which was made possible by the hard work and dedication of our Zookeeper, Gardening, and Marketing teams, who worked closely with the team at Top Trumps to bring this project to life. It’s been a fantastic journey, and we’re excited to share the results with you.
